THE CLASS

This is scene study built for actors who want to grow with intention. Each week you work published, professional material over a multi-week arc, living with a scene long enough to deepen it through rehearsal, direction, and feedback.

The focus is truthful, grounded performance. You'll strengthen your instincts, make stronger choices, and build the kind of habits that translate directly to auditions and set.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Listening and responding truthfully in the moment

• Objectives, obstacles, and playable actions

• Script analysis that gives you clarity and specificity

• Building real connection with your scene partner

• Behaving authentically under imaginary circumstances

Format: In-person scene study
When: Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Where: Nashville (Forevermore Coffee)
Begins: July 7th, 2026
Class size: Limited to keep every actor working each week

THE INSTRUCTOR

Ryan Sands is a professional actor with more than twenty years of screen credits, including a series regular role on Marvel's Runaways and recurring roles on The Wire and The Cleaning Lady. He founded Sands Acting Studio to give actors a supportive, disciplined space to develop real craft and the confidence to bring it to professional work.
